Biography

Deborah Tysor is a doctoral student and research assistant at the University of Utah.  Her research interests focus on the potential mental health benefits of nature-based experiences for veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder.  A graduate of the University of Utah's therapeutic recreation (TR) program, Deborah hopes to increase the body of research for the TR field and promote evidence-based interventions among TR practitioners.
