Biography

Cait is a third year doctoral candidate in the Department of Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation with a specialization in Youth Development. She helps progress the American Camp Association's youth development research efforts as a Research Assistant. She is also a member of the research team managing Research 360 which is a 5-year multiphase research project funded by the American Camp Association. Her dissertation research is on the developmental importance of success and failure in summer camps, lifelong learning in organized camping, and how these experiences contribute to college and career readiness. Cait serves as the Co-Chair for the Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) and is a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Committee (DSAC).
