  • 'Water Wise Landscaping: What is it and Why do we need it?' Conducted a joint presentation with Salt Lake County Jail staff about water wise plants and irrigation practices. We spoke about career options in water wise landscaping after the inmates would be released. About 9 male inmates were audience to this presentation. Presentation, Presented, 10/18/2017.
  • Topic: 'Can urbanization level of a place act as a predictor of water saving behavior? A case of Salt Lake Valley, Cache Valley and Heber Valley'. Poster presented at ACSP conference in Denver, CO in Oct 2017. Other, Presented, 10/12/2017.
  • Topic: 'Our water futures: Why is it important, and what we can do'. Presentation at Girls' Transition Center, a detention center for females between 13 and 18 years of age. I talked about how they can explore a career in STEM if they are interested in water sustainability. We also explored pollution sources of a city with the help of a scaled city model.
