Biography

A native of Connecticut, Dr. Deyette moved to Salt Lake City in 2012 closing a successful private practice spanning 17 years in Ridgefield, CT. An active member in the community, Dr. Deyette treated adolescents and adults for a variety of mental health disorders and issues. Her clinical practice specialty areas include eating disorders; mood and anxiety disorders, women's issues, mid-life transitions, combat and civilian trauma, and moral injury. 

During her advanced practice career, Dr. Deyette taught undergraduate psychiatric nursing students as adjunct faculty for the University of Connecticut (UCONN) School of Nursing. She was awarded a Doctoral Teaching Fellowship, while completing her PhD in Nursing (2001).

In 2013, Dr. Deyette began her career with the University of Utah at the rank of Assistant Professor, Clinical. Dr. Deyette treated adolescents and adults with behavioral health disorders in the greater Salt Lake Community based out of two of the University's outpatient clinics. Psychotherapeutic modalities include psychodynamic, supportive, person-centered and trauma-informed therapies, integrating cognitive- and experientially-based treatment modalities.

Dr. Deyette enjoys downhill skiing, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking and road cycling.
