Biography

Elise Gatti is a doctorate candidate in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Her dissertation research focuses on the dynamics between climate and weather, and outdoor recreation. Other research emphases include the health benefits of nature-based leisure, the contribution of urban parks to active living, and the role of animals in outdoor recreation.
