Research Summary

I study a branch of mathematics called ergodic theory. Ergodic theory seeks to understand the long term behavior of a dynamical system, such as a closed physical system, using a tool from mathematics called a measure. I am interested in specific families of systems such as smooth, that is differentiable, flows on surfaces and billiards in polygons. I am also interested in abstract ergodic theory.
