Biography

Dr. Holly Gurgle is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. She is a primary care clinical pharmacist at the ARUP Laboratories Family Health Clinic, an innovative employer-based primary care clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia and her PharmD from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY-2 ambulatory care residency at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Centers in Seattle, WA. She is a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist and a certified diabetes educator. Her practice, research, and teaching interests include: cardiometabolic disorders (diabetes, lipids, obesity), interprofessional education, team-based primary care practice models, immunizations, and preventative medicine.
