Research Summary
My research investigates the nature, logic, and limitations of human reasoning. My work is interdisciplinary, drawing from philosophy, logic, intellectual history, and the cognitive, mathematical, and computer sciences. I hope to shed new light on the modes of reasoning humans employ, whether individually or in social endeavors such as the sciences. And I seek to provide new advice and correctives for reasoning in the real world.
