Biography

Dr. Cheryl Armstrong has been a registered nurse for over 30 years, specializing in Maternal Newborn Nursing.  She always enjoyed working with student nurses and in 2010 went back to school to earn a Master of Science in Nursing Education degree from the University of Utah. In 2017 she earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University to further her career in academia.  Dr. Armstrong is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Utah College of Nursing where she teaches students in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, baking, and traveling with her husband and three children.
