Teaching Philosophy

In Optics for Energy, we study the exciting intersection of optics and the engineering challenges associated with generation, distribution and utilization of energy with specific goals of innovation and commercialization.

Computational photography is a project-based class, students will learn to: (1) build a simple imaging system ; (2) computationally process images; (3) create and apply simple machine-learning techniques ; and (4) explore unconventional cameras.
