Biography

I was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, where I developed my love for the outdoors, physical activity and fitness.  This interest led me to a pursue my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Exercise Sciences.   I have worked as a bench scientist, a clinical exercise physiologist, and most currently as a university instructor of future exercise professionals.  In my free time you might find me playing outside with my husband and pre-school daughter, going to Farmer’s Markets, drinking coffee, and reading books.
