Research Summary

I am co-Spokesperson for the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI). DESI began observing the three-dimensional structure of the Universe in 2020 and will continue through at least 2026. When finished, DESI will create a spectroscopic sample of galaxies that is 10X larger than any other spectroscopic program. These data will yield insights into the nature of dark energy, gravity, neutrinos, and other fundamental properties of the cosmos.
