Since 2008, Professor Reitze has been a Professor of Law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. He is also the J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Professor Emeritus of Law of the George Washington University School of Law and was the director of their LL.M. program in environmental law from 1970–2008. He was the Maurice C. Shapiro Professor of Environmental Law from 1996–2008, faculty editor of the ABA’s THE ENVIRONMENTAL LAWYER from 1994-2003, Assistant and Associate Prof., at Case Western Reserve University Law School from 1965-1970, Instructor at the University of Michigan Law School from 1964-1965, and a Teaching Associate at Indiana University Law School from 1963-1964.
Professor Reitze teaches Environmental Law and seminars in Climate Change and Current Issues in Environmental Law. He also is a member of the University of Utah's Institute for Clean and Secure Energy.
