Dr. Heidi Favero has over 25 years of clinical experience working with different patient populations. The majority of her bedside nursing career was spent in critical care. She also enjoyed her experience as a fixed wing transport nurse. Her first couple of years as a nurse practitioner were spent caring for the cardiovascular surgery patient population. She enjoyed getting to know patients throughout their peri-operative experience as well as continuing to follow some throught the years. The last 7.5 years she has enjoyed her return to critical care. She believes clinical experience and academics enhance one another. She views teaching as helping her future colleagues evolve into becoming successful providers.
