Teaching Philosophy

Remember that students’ educational journeys may not match the destinations you, or they, had in mind.  Pull but don’t push, show but don’t reveal.  Strive to make discovery the key ingredient of every exchange, and exploration a way of life.  Ursula K. LeGuin said it best;  “It’s good to have an end to journey  toward,  but it’s the journey that matters in the end”.   Make learning the journey that will last a lifetime.
