Biography

Gerri is a California native who moved to Utah where she has never acclimated to the winters. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah State University in 1998 and her M.B.A. from The University of Phoenix in 2000. Prior to joining the Department of English as their Graduate Academic Advisor in 2006, she worked in the private sector as the Administrator of a small electronics manufacturing company in South Salt Lake. Gerri has over 9 years’ experience advising on a graduate level and loves working with each of her amazing graduate students, helping them to successfully navigate the degree process and all that entails. When Gerri is not working she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her beautiful dog – Lady Catherine (Catie).
