Research

Research Summary

I work primarily in Spanish Early Modern studies and Theater Studies. My research, which spans across centuries and geographies, includes work on Early Modern literary, visual and cultural production as well as modern adaptations of Early Modern texts. I am also interested in contemporary drama and performance arts, in particular in the varying conceptions of interculturalism and trans-culturalism as well as perception and cognition in the context of the Contemporary stage.
