Sarah Hagen joined the Birth Care Health Care team in July of 2008. She provides care for women at Clinic 4 and South Main Clinic's Teen Mother and Child Program and catches babies at University Hospital. Sarah earned a BSN from the University of New Hampshire. She received her MS from the University of Utah's dual Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Prior to working with Birth Care Health Care, Sarah worked with the midwives at the University of Colorado Birth Center in Denver, Colorado. Before she was a midwife, Sarah practiced for three years as a labor and delivery nurse at University Hospital in Utah. Sarah's hobbies include cooking, running, snowshoeing, and hiking with her two dogs.
Sarah is a strong believer that the experience of giving birth is a normal and natural process that works best when interfered with as little as possible.
