Biography

Anne Mooney is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture, where she teaches applied research design studios and professional practice. Professor Mooney is an architect and design principal and the co-founder of Sparano + Mooney Architecture, an award-winning design firm with offices in Salt Lake City, UT and Los Angeles, CA.  Her work has been internationally recognized for its research-based conceptual approach to architecture and has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications in North and South America, Europe and Asia.  Current projects include community, cultural and recreation projects, sacred spaces and private residences located throughout the western United States.  A LEED accredited professional, Ms. Mooney is experienced in sustainable building systems and technologies and consults with public and private entities on sustainable architectural design.
