Biography

I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), past student board member of the Health Education Association of Utah, and current SPEAK (Students Promoting Eating Disorder Awareness and Knowledge) member.  I received my Bachelors degree in Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Community Health and minor in Nutrition in addition to a Masters degree in Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in weight management, body image and eating disorders and certificate in global health from the University of Utah.  I have conducted research related to nutrition globally, worked with refugees to improve their nutrition status and have provided nutrition consultations to cardiac rehab patients.  I am currently working as the academic advisor for Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah and instructor.
