  • Wasatch Public Media, Inc. I am serving my 8th year as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors for Wasatch Public Media, the nonprofit corporation that holds the license for KCPW-FM, Salt Lake Public Radio. This service has expanded profoundly since 2020. As secretary of the license holder, I am responsible for executing legal agreements and thus worked closely with the station manager in applying for two rounds of Paycheck Protection Loans and obtaining loan forgiveness. 01/10/2014 - present

  • Member, Working Group on Non-Tenure Line Faculty. Invited by the Dean to participate in a thoroughgoing evaluation of practices, policies, and compensation for non-tenure line faculty across units in the College.   • I wrote a successful proposal to revise the Intellectual Exploration General Education attribute for COMM 2110 Introduction to Interpersonal Communication.   • Communication sequences. With colleagues, I created a new undergraduate sequence in Science, Health, and Environmental Communication (CommSHER).
