Research Summary

My dissertation investigates and compares the incentives of various environmental policy instruments in adopting and diffusing environmental benign technology in the aspects of both theory and empirics. I examine the policy-oriented theoretical results under various situations, and the effect of regulatory scheme on the adoption and diffusion of technology based on the case of SO2 and NOX regulation in the U.S.
