Research Summary

Using remote sensing including radar and radiometers to study convection, precipitation, lightning, and trace gases troposphere-stratosphere transport.

My research interests include the ground-and satellite-based remote sensing, clouds and precipitation, and extreme events. I take the lead on developing the event-based database from Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission observations and is author/coauthor of 30 peer-reviewed publications.
