  • STEM Friday outreach activity on Claymation with 2nd grade PALs students, Bountiful Elementary, Bountiful, UT. Created clay characters and helped students in small groups create a storyboard, move the characters, and take photographs to create a story. I then compiled the photographs into a movie for the students to enjoy. 10/28/2019 - 11/20/2019
  • STEM Friday outreach activity on digital storyboarding with 1st -3rd grade PALs students, Bountiful Elementary, Bountiful, UT. Prepared and led an activity with about 50 children in which the children learned about planning an interactive narrative and then worked in groups to create walk-through storyboards on the floor. 10/21/2019 - 10/25/2019
  • Asia Geo-Friday presentation and art activity on India for 1st -3rd grade PALs (Primary Advanced Learner) students, Bountiful Elementary School, Bountiful, UT. Prepared and led a cultural appreciation discussion about India and then an activity where students learned about the Indian art practice of drawing kolam, meditative geometric designs. The students then created their own kolam designs using rice paste on a grid of dots. 02/08/2019 - 02/22/2019
  • Digital storyboarding outreach activity with kindergarteners at Legacy Preparatory Academy, North Salt Lake, UT. I visited two classes as a guest expert and had the students collaborate to create a life-sized, walk through storyboard for The Three Bears, which could function as a plan for a non-linear story or video game. 09/12/2017 - 10/10/2017
  • Coordinated students' research, planning, and content creation for a website commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Utah Arts Festival, partnering with leadership of the Utah Arts Festival and within the Marriott Library, who recently acquired the Utah Arts Festival archive. The students completed this project as part of my FA 3600 Writing for New Media class. 07/2010 - 12/2010
