Creative Research

  • mMy group performed for the Utah Thrive 125 Tour in Beaver, Marysvale, Boulder and Gunnison Utah, in conjunction with the non-profit Excellence in the Community Concerts. We also perform regularly at the Silver Star Cafe in Park City, Utah. Performance, completed 02/14/2022.
  • My band the Red Rock Hot Club did thee live streaming concert performances for the local non-profit organization "Excellence in the Community Concerts", as well as several outdoor socially distanced performances i Park City. Performance, completed 12/31/2020.
  • My band the Red Rock Hot Club did several high profile performances in 2019 including Excellence in the Community concerts, regular bookings at the Silver Star CafĂ© in Park City UT, the Park City Food and Wine Festival at the Montage in Deer Valley UT, the 25th anniversary gala for Fiends of Great Salt Lake, and the Brigham City Fine Arts Center Concerts in Brigham City UT. Performance, completed 02/13/2020.
  • Since 2014 I have fielded clients, booked/contracted all performances, hired all musicians and served as band leader for my Gypsy Jazz ensemble, the "Red Rock Hot Club", which is an ongoing effort. Other, completed 02/05/2018.
  • Performing several sub gigs with "Hot House West",a gypsy Jazz group of University of Utah School of Music graduates whom I taught and mentored. Performance, completed 02/05/2018.
  • My group the "Red Rock Hot Club" had another busy year of performances for weddings, parties, corporate events, benefits and concerts including: Excellence in the Community Concert Series 2/16/17 and 10/19/17, the convocation for the University of Utah College of Social and Behavioral Science 4/27/17, Music and Mustangs benefit in Heber, UT 10/13/17, the Hoogle Zoo Rendezvous 9/7/17, the Utah Symphony Guild Gala 4/27/17, and several swing dances for the non profit "Salt Lake Swing" including lobbying at the State Capital during the 2017 legislative session. Performance, completed 02/05/2018.
