Design has been a part of Keith Findling's life for as far back as he can remember. His first commercial experience in design began when he founded a jewelry design business while finishing college. Shortly afterwards he expanded his business to include furniture design.
Upon returning home to Michigan, Keith took a job in the Industrial Design Department at the College for Creative Studies, where he taught for 5 yrs before moving to Utah after hearing stories of bottomless powder and epic skateparks.
He spent his first several years in Utah travelling back and forth to Milan trying to make his mark as a furniture designer before finding a home at Espiritu Design as a product designer. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award in product design for a prosthetic foot.
Keith currently teaches in the Design Department, as well as supervises the Fabrication Lab for the College of Architecture + Planning at the University of Utah.
When he is not busy with work, he can usually be found designing and building alternative forms of transportation such as skateboards, snowboards, and bicycles.
