Biography

Kira earned her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the University of Utah in 2005. During her time on campus she worked with the Housing and Residential Education, the ASUU Tutoring Center, the CLEAR Program: Center for Engineering Leadership and the Daily Utah Chronicle. Kira obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Montana, where she was also an instructor. Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of women's health non-profit organizations across the country. Kira brings a vast skill-set and knowledge of student services and advocacy work to her advising to keep quality student experiences as the focus of what the College of Fine Arts does best. Kira has more than five years experience teaching, advising, and counseling students.
