Career Highlights

Graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and worked for British Petroleum/Kennecott Minerals in the minerals exploration and mining field. Obtained BSN from University of Utah and worked in various aspects of acute and transitional care. Completed MS and DNP degrees from University of Utah College of Nursing. Began teaching as a clinical instructor in 2008.

Participated in two recent curriculum redevelopment projects, as well as integration of simulation into curriculum. Currently teaching in both undergraduate and graduate courses. Special interests include physiology and pathology as well as transitional care management.
