  • Roboutes: Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at Natural History Museum of Utah. The RoboUtes were invited by the NHMU to provide an education experience for museum visitors waiting for the annular solar eclipse. 5 RoboUtes members demonstrated a rover and robotic arm, a quadcaopter, an Oculus Rift, and a 3D printer, and answered questions about robotics, space exploration, astronomy, and the University of Utah.   • Roboutes: Frontiers of Science Lecture: NASA’s Curiosity Rover, Two Years on Mars. Kimberly Lichtenberg, an instrument engineer for NASA, lectured on the Curiosity rover’s two years on Mars.
