Research Summary

Our research group utilizes materials informatics to explore the discovery, synthesis, and characterization of new materials for energy applications such as batteries, thermoelectrics, thermal barrier coatings, thermal management systems and others. We are interested in machine learning, new synthetic techniques, structure-property relationships, and developing sustainable materials that balance performance with economic factors such as cost, abundance, and availability.
