  • Elected to a position on the Faculty Senate Advisory Council on Diversity (SACD). Chair subcommittee on Culture Change--a cohort tasked with identifying opportunities for transforming the University and campus culture to better reflect our shared commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity.   • Serve on the Writing Department's Diversity committee--and currently assigned to the subcommittee responsible for revising the department's Diversity Statement. Member, 09/01/2020 - 12/31/2020. Department service.
  • Serve on the Bennion Faculty Committee responsible for reviewing CEL course applicants and 5 yr. renewals, voting on internal policy, and advising on Bennion operations. Member, 01/01/2020 - 12/31/2020. University service.

Community Partnership

  • The University Dream Center: Partnered with the U's Dream Center in fall 2020 as part of a CEL project for WRTG 3015 to help produce media/PR content for the Center's newsletter and website. 09/01/2020 - 12/31/2020
  • Square Kitchen: Partnered with local nonprofit food incubator, Square Kitchen as part of the CEL designated WRTG 3015 course (summer 2020). Directed students and helped them polish a series of articles the community partner could use to publicize their work and seek new supporters/clients. 05/18/2020 - 07/29/2020
