Biography

Hiroko Hashitani is the Acquisitions & Access Services Law Librarian at the James E. Faust Law Library. She developed her expertise in library services at the J. Willard Marriott Library after graduating from the University of Utah with B.A. in Linguistics and the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate. She was the ILL/Resource Sharing manager prior to transferring to Faust Law Library. She received M.S. in Library Science from North Texas University to step into the faculty librarian role. Her research interests include Access Services, Collection Development, eBook acquisitions, library systems, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in academia.
