Biography

Cole Adams –Associate Professor Lecturer University of Utah School of Dance. B.F.A. Utah State University. Cole serves as the Production Director and Lighting Designer for the Marriott Center for Dance. Cole teaches Lighting Design and Production Practices for Modern and Ballet majors to aid them as they transition to the professional world. The courses are designed to teach students about the professional production world so they may have the necessary tools to communicate with designers and production personnel that will bring their chorographic ideas to fruition. As Production Director, Cole is responsible for the Marriott Center for Dance Hayes Christensen Theater and the coordination of its programming. Additionally Cole is responsible for the lighting designs for all of the School of Dance productions. Cole has a lighting design company, A.L.R. LLC, which represents his designs throughout the intermountain west. Cole is also CEO of Clear Lamp LLC, a production company that provides Audio, Video, Lighting, and Staging Services throughout the United States. Clear Lamp also provides artists with full touring and production services throughout the world.
