Biography

Eric Mittelstadt is the Deputy Director of Utah Legal Services, a not for profit organization serving people who are low-income, victims of domestic violence, Senior Citizens, farmworkers and Native Americans.  Eric is a 1991 graduate of the University of Utah College of Law.  Eric has worked at Utah Legal Services for over 25 years as a staff attorney, managing attorney, project manager, director of advocacy and personnel and now as Deputy Director.  A member of the Management Information Exchange Board of Directors since 2003, he is Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the organization’s training committee.  He is a frequent trainer at MIE events and oversees their support for legal services administrators.  Eric served on the Utah Supreme Court’s Ethics and Discipline Committee for six years and on the State Court’s Online Court Assistance Program Advisory Committee for more than two decades.
