Research Summary
I am interested in supporting the occupational therapist's that educate our students in their practice areas. I am currently involved in research dedicated to expanding the knowledge base about what it takes to educate students in clinical settings and how we can ensure that students graduate with the skills and knowledge that will make them excellent occupational therapists. I am also interested in how people with spinal cord injuries participate in home and community settings.

Biography
I graduated with an MS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1998, after completing a BS at the University of Utah in 1996. I have worked with adults in neuro-rehabilitation settings since that time. I started teaching as an adjunct faculty member in 2006, and became a full time assistant professor, clinical in 2008. In addition to teaching, I am the academic fieldwork coordinator and enjoy meeting occupational therapist's across the state and the country and providing them with support as they mentor our students on their internships.
