Benjamin Bromley is a theoretical astrophysicist at the University of Utah. He is from Back East; his undergraduate training at Middlebury College was in physics and chemistry, and he worked in academia and industry as a chemical laboratory technician and a medical computing programmer. He returned to school to earn a PhD from Dartmouth College, and held two postdoctoral fellowhip positions--one in the Theory Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the other in the Department of Physics at Harvard University--before heading to the Mountain West.
