Biography

Joanne LaFleur is Associate Professor in the University of Utah College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacotherapy. She has a joint appointment as a researcher in the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center's Informatics, Decision Enhancement, and Surveillance (IDEAS) Center. She received her PharmD degree from the University of Utah in 2003 and went on to complete a Fellowship in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research and a Master’s degree in Public Health in 2005, both at the University of Utah. Dr. LaFleur is also Director of the University of Utah's Data-Driven Collaborative of Informatics, Pharmacoepidemiology, and Health Economics, Researchers (DeCIPHER) and Director of the University of Utah's Drug Regimen Review Center (DRRC). Her research interests lie primarily in the areas of pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, and health policy.
