Biography

Dr. Dansie has over 30 years of experience in architecting, developing, securing and operating information technology solutions. He has been a technology and cybersecurity leader in startups, consulting firms and large Enterprises. He currently teaches cybersecurity courses at the University of Utah as a Professor (Lecturer), leads the Cybersecurity Management Programs at the University of Utah, and consults in healthcare cybersecurity and compliance. Dr. Dansie is a CISSP-ISSMP, received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics from Stanford University.
