Bruce K. Gale, currently Director of the Utah State Center of Excellence for Biomedical Microfluidics and an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah since 2001, has three primary research areas: (1) microfluidics and micro-total-analysis systems (mu­-TAS) for research and diagnostic purposes; (2) microscale medical devices that typically include microfluidics; and (3) field flow fractionation for characterization of nanoparticles.
