Research Summary

My passion lies in the research and application of simulation best practices to improve quality and safety across a wide range of academic and healthcare settings. In particular,my research interests lie in nursing quality, competency measurement, and the use of human factors to develop processes that protect the safety of both patients and practitioners


Stephanie (Stevi) Gire, MS, RN, CHSE, is a Clinical Instructor with a primary focus on simulation-based instruction and faculty development. She has spent the last 2 years working with simulation experts across Utah to develop two 3-day courses through the newly established Utah Simulation Coalition: Simulation Operations Specialist Basics and Simulation Facilitator Course for the Academician.
