Ms. Maudsley is a member of the Litigation section at Kirton McConkie. Her practice focuses on representation of regional and national banks, secured creditors, franchisors, finance companies, equipment lessors, contracting parties, and other types of creditors in workout, restructuring, receivership, collection and bankruptcy-related matters. She also represents corporate clients in general commercial litigation matters and financial institutions in asset securitization default and workout matters.
Prior to working at Kirton McConkie, she was a partner in the Special Litigation, Bankruptcy and Workouts department of Chapman and Cutler LLP. She has assisted in the representation of debtors, creditors' committees, indenture trustees, secured creditors, insurers, equipment lessors, and preference defendants in bankruptcy, state and federal court litigation, receivership and workout proceedings. Ms. Maudsley focuses her practice on corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Ms. Maudsley clerked for the Honorable Nancy C. Dreher, bankruptcy judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota and member for the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit. Ms. Maudsley was selected by her peers as one of Utah's Legal Elite in the area of corporate bankruptcy in the January 2011 issue of Utah Business Magazine.Ms. Maudsley is a proud alum of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, Class of 2000, where she received her J.D. with summa cum laude honors. She was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2000 and the Utah Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2001. Ms. Maudsley teaches Bankruptcy Survey.
