Since earning her BS in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2003, Sharifa has been a nurse at Primary Children's Medical Center's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology floor.  Upon completing her MS in Teaching Nursing from the University of Utah in 2008, she became a clinical faculty member with the College of Nursing's undergraduate and graduate program.  Sharifa loves to spend time with her two children, travel, and teach.
