Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to develop and challenge each student's intuition and analytical skills by using real world examples to understand and explain complex economic principles.  I try to use my experience as both a lawyer and an economist to explain how challenges and problems outside the classroom can be analzyed by economic theories discussed in the classroom.

Courses I Teach

  • Economics 5380 / 6380 - Law & Economics
A survey of the application of microeconomic principles and theories to the areas of property law, torts, contract law, and criminal law. We also cover additional topics in the areas of antitrust law, environmental law, family law, and employment law.
