  • History 1300 - Latin American Civilization to the 1820s
    This course introduces students to central themes in Latin American civilization from the time of the Colombian voyages to the movements for independence in the 1820s. First half of a two-semester sequence.
  • History 1310 - Latin American Civilization Since the 1820s
    This course introduces students to central themes in Latin American civilization from the movements of independence in the 1820s to the present. Second half of a two-semester sequence.
  • History 4290 - Americas After Columbus
    Examines patterns of cross-cultural influence among Native Americans, Europeans, and Africans in a variety of colonial settings throughout the early modern Americas.
