Biography

Robin L. Marcus, PT, PhD, OCS, is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Utah.  She is a Board-Certified Clinical Orthopedic Specialist in Physical Therapy. She is a recognized expert in physical countermeasures in older individuals with a variety of co-morbid conditions. Dr. Marcus completed her PhD in exercise science from the University of Utah in 2001 and completed a 5-year NIH-sponsored training award as a Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) scholar in 2009. She has served as a principal or co-investigator on several intramural and extramural grants.  She is currently the Chief Wellness Officer for the Health Sciences.
