Courses I Teach

  • Ed Ps 7480 - Supervision Theory and Practice
    The course presents a systematic study of theories, methods, and research on the supervisory process. Course materials provide an emphasis on the development of skills for supervising psychological assessment and intervention work of psychological, educational, and mental health service providers. The development of clinical supervisory skills is fostered through in-class application learning activities to better assist students in understanding the major roles and responsibilities in clinical supervision, ethical concerns related to supervision, issues relevant to diverse populations, and a better understanding of the developmental processes of supervisees.
  • Ed Ps 7720 - Practicum in Supervision
    This supervision practicum provides the opportunity for students to continue the development of clinical supervisory skills. Applied learning is fostered through supervision of supervision in a small group format and via in-class activities. Students will continue to enhance their understanding of the major roles and responsibilities in clinical supervision, ethical concerns related to supervision, issues relevant to diverse populations, and a continued consideration of the developmental processes of supervisees.
