Research Summary

I use narrative methods to study interpersonal relationships in later life and social policies that affect older adults.

Research Statement

Current research projects include:

- A series of studies examining the methods and foundations of qualitative research in social work

- A study that examines the treatment of justice in social work literature

- A study of relationships between young adults and their aging parents

- A study of the philosophical foundations and assumptions in end-of-life narratives
