Research

Research Statement

I am interested in the electronic and physical properties of nanometer scale materials and devices.  My group develops and applies nanometer scale scanning probe methods to characterize the electronic properties of semiconducters, dielectrics, single molecules and molecular electronic devices on a sub-nanomter scale.  We are also engaged in finding methods to detect single spins with atomic scale spatial resolution and to create atomic sized quantum devices and circuits.
