Research Statement

My interest is to better understand the affect of burn injury on skeletal muscle tissue and what the resultant affects of the injury are on strength and function.   It is important to begin to outline how these potential changes in skeletal muscle function might also influence range of motion, mobility, aerobic conditioning, and physical activities and function.
