Research Summary

My interests in research are related to burn injury and rehabilitation. Of particular interest are to better define the pattern of muscle loss and recovery, and the return of function following burn injury, wounding and scarring. I am also interested in the rehabilitation needs of and the recovery of patients with chronic wounds. I have participated in some work related to the regrowth of sensory neurons and the relative return of sensory function into healing burns.
